Melissa LeBlanc is a ceramic artist who lives and works in Nashwaak Bridge, New Brunswick. Melissa graduated with honors from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in 2013.
Her studio is set in the country, on the beautiful Nashwaak River. The visiting animals provide her with abundant inspiration for her human/animal hybrid ceramic sculptures.
In 2015 Melissa taught several sculpture workshops throughout New Brunswick. She was the recipient of a Creation Grant from the Arts Board in 2013.
She is an instructor at NBCCD in Fredericton, where she encourages students to tap into their creativity and find their own personal aesthetic as a means of artistic fulfillment.
Melissa has exhibited her whimsical clay sculptures in solo and group exhibitions nationally.
