Born in 1949, Alessandro Nocentini continues to live and work in the city of his birth, Florence Italy.

A second generation engraver, Nocentini is considered by many to be one of Italy's most accomplished etchers, receiving rave reviews from both the critics and public alike. His graphic works, individually water coloured, reveal a lyrical effect of remarkable intensity. This aptitude was more apparent in his latest exhibitions held in the United States and Germany where he unveiled a delicate study of light on water, a study of reflection and transparency.
